David Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Nogueira in the 4th minute of the match. David Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wesley Diniz's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Pedrinho Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Luiz Eduardo Bastos made a huge save. After 10 minutes, Gualter Moura made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. PelotaQuadrada FC's David Fonseca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Walmir de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Bastos having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodriguinho Nogueira couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Donato in the 34th minute of play forced PelotaQuadrada FC's goalkeeper David Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PelotaQuadrada FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvirrubro FC the free kick. After 82 played minutes PelotaQuadrada FC got a freekick which was hit by Walmir de Castro. Gualter Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualter Moura in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Fonseca saved PelotaQuadrada FC from getting behind. Gualter Moura struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. David Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvirrubro FC. The supporters of Alvirrubro FC booed when PelotaQuadrada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alvirrubro FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
