Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gilvan Severo kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Lameirao FC defense, Gilvan Severo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilvan Pires. The Lameirao FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilvan Pires should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Campidelis got free with Vivaldo Silveira in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilvan Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gilvan Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Fred Campidelis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vivaldo Silveira. Moquem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Campidelis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gilvan Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Gilvan Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moquem's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilvan Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilvan Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When William Mota came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Moquem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Mota couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Velloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilvan Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Lameirao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Severo came free, but Gilvan Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Moquem booed when Lameirao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aluísio Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moquem's Vivaldo Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Carioca in the 40th minute of play. William Mota struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Gilvan Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moquem. If Alexandre Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diogo Carioca made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Moquem's Alexandre Velloso got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Campidelis in the 56th minute of play forced Moquem's goalkeeper Vivaldo Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Moquem got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Velloso. In the 58th minute Diogo Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Gilvan Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilvan Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Velloso's late challenge caught a Lameirao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Velloso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Moquem getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alexandre Velloso hit a great ball. In the 67th match minute, Lameirao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Braga to maneuver through the defense. William Mota hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Moquem's Alexandre Velloso got a free kick in the 71st minute. A collision led to Lameirao FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Richard Braga hit a great ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Moquem's William Mota in the 78th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gilvan Pires was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Lameirao FC through an amazing save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilvan Severo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Moquem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Severo to maneuver through the defense. William Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Pires having to interfere. If Gilvan Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Moquem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Severo to maneuver through the defense. 2-1 became the score in the 94th minute when Fred Campidelis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
