An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Arósio in the 4th minute of play forced Moquem's goalkeeper Vivaldo Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moquem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kauan Arósio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gilvan Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Rosado having to interfere. Vivaldo Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Pontes went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Alexandre Velloso came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Moquem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Velloso couldn't finish the play. Vivaldo Silveira came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Japyra EC's Kauan Arósio. But to his dismay, Kauan Arósio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Gilvan Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Moquem getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alexandre Velloso hit a great ball. William Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Rosado having to interfere. The Moquem players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Japyra EC were winning 0-4.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilvan Severo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Japyra EC's Serafim Brasil got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th match minute, Moquem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorginho Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Gilvan Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Japyra EC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Velloso came free, but Jorginho Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Vivaldo Silveira managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Japyra EC's Raimundo Pontes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jorginho Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Severo in the 90th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Velloso during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Japyra EC booed when Moquem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Faustão Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
