After a defensive mix-up in Moco SS's zone, Amadeu Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Machado came out of the goal and Amadeu Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Válter Xavier's late challenge caught a Galo Junior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válter Xavier helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Moco SS's Válter Xavier got a free kick in the 41st minute. Nelsinho Machado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Seco's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.
