With 47 minutes on the clock, Hélder Almeida commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 46 minutes into the game, one of Merlin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

63 minutes into the game, Claudinei Saldanha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrick Urbano. When the final whistle sounded Cachorro Louco F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Merlin.
