In the 13th minute Adalberto Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Nilton Nogueira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gláuber Vinhas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adalberto Hermes's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, TLMPs2's goalkeeper Gláuber Vinhas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilton Nogueira. Nilton Nogueira scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gláuber Vinhas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gláuber Vinhas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nilton Nogueira's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Raimundo Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adalberto Hermes to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Cunha in the 55th minute of play forced Real Scali's goalkeeper Raimundo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 minutes of play, Real Scali's Adalberto Hermes made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gláuber Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nilton Nogueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gláuber Vinhas having to make a save. Eliseu Cardozo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Adalberto Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Scali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Adelino Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adalberto Hermes in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gláuber Vinhas saved TLMPs2 from getting behind. Adhemar Pires was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Adhemar Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Tiago Marques in the 85th minute really tested Raimundo Neto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Raimundo Neto made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Eliseu Cardozo sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Adalberto Hermes made a precise shot to the right of Gláuber Vinhas. TLMPs2's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Nilton Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Vinhas having to interfere. After 96 played minutes TLMPs2 got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Cardozo. For all the effort they put into the match, the TLMPs2 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real Scali.
