Oséas Cerezo might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luan Vergílio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oséas Cerezo ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfredo Pereira charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Pereira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aguacu EC! Oséas Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Adrianinho Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandria's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrianinho Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luan Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 played minutes Alexandria got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Munhoz. In the 15th match minute, Alexandria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Oséas Cerezo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Alexandria's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luan Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Prestes in the 22nd minute of play. Tostão Munhoz lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 24th minute, one of Alexandria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alexandria. 26 minutes into the match, João Pedro do Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robinho do Vale. Alexandria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Pedro do Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, Ediberto Barreto notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Alexandria's Robinho do Vale. Robinho do Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 32 minutes, Adrianinho Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alexandria and the Aguacu EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adrianinho Gonçalves hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Perivaldo Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robinho do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediberto Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Adrianinho Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Vergílio having to interfere. Ediberto Barreto took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robinho do Vale. Robinho do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Barreto in the 48th minute of play forced Alexandria's goalkeeper Robinho do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Léo Prestes made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Aguacu EC's Ediberto Barreto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robinho do Vale. Robinho do Vale yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After 54 minutes of play, Aguacu EC's Ediberto Barreto made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robinho do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute Manfredo Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robinho do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Ribeiro in the 63rd minute of play. If Anísio Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Léo Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Léo Prestes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alexandria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguacu EC the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, Alexandria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Prestes to maneuver through the defense. Ediberto Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Robinho do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ediberto Barreto in the 82nd minute. Anísio Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
