Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Délio do Vale kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute of the match Merlin got a corner. TLMPs2's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Délio do Vale ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Délio do Vale got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gláuber Vinhas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisinho Cunha in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Urbano saved Merlin from getting behind. In the 9th minute Luisinho Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in TLMPs2's zone, Patrick Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gláuber Vinhas came out of the goal and Patrick Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrick Urbano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseu Cardozo in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Domingues in the 19th minute of play forced TLMPs2's goalkeeper Gláuber Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisinho Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Patrick Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TLMPs2's Gláuber Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Domingues in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Patrick Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gláuber Vinhas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of TLMPs2 booed when Merlin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Merlin's Délio do Vale made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gláuber Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gláuber Vinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gláuber Vinhas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fabiano Domingues went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Eliseu Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the TLMPs2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseu Cardozo couldn't finish the play. When Nilmar Meirelles fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TLMPs2's protests and gave Nilmar Meirelles a yellow card for diving instead. Nilmar Meirelles hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luiz Fabiano Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisinho Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Vítor Marquez made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. TLMPs2's Gláuber Vinhas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Fabiano Domingues's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Gláuber Vinhas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Merlin were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after TLMPs2's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Délio do Vale took the corner. After taking down the ball on Merlin's corner Délio do Vale fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gláuber Vinhas quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Délio do Vale put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Gláuber Vinhas. Eliseu Cardozo scored 1-5 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Urbano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vítor Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Merlin's Vítor Marquez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Luiz Fabiano Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Vinhas having to interfere. If Vítor Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Marquez charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vítor Marquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vítor Marquez hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Merlin's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Cunha came free, but Patrick Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th match minute, Merlin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Arruda to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 91 minutes, Tiago Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TLMPs2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
