Montevidio's Hernani Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Hermes in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Montevidio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Brito to maneuver through the defense. If Adalberto Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nilton Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Real Scali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilton Nogueira couldn't finish the play. Nilton Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Hernani Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Scali. Montevidio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilton Nogueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. If Nilton Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Montevidio's André Luís Dantas got a free kick in the 47th minute. Adalberto Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Nogueira having to interfere. The Montevidio players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Scali were winning 0-4.

André Luís Dantas hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Nilton Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Scali's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilton Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernani Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Adalberto Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Adalberto Hermes lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Hernani Nogueira. Hernani Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Igor Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Hernani Nogueira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Igor Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Scali's Adalberto Hermes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hernani Nogueira. That made the score 0-7 after 82 minutes of play. Adalberto Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Hernani Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Scali's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
