Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sérgio Velloso made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Velloso in the 4th minute of play forced Alemoa SC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Velloso took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Gaspar. Ezequiel Gaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With his leg Ezequiel Gaspar managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Salmonella's Sérgio Velloso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 11 minutes into the match, Salmonella's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Cardoso came free, but Luiz Eduardo Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Eger in the 12th minute of play forced Salmonella's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Salmonella's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Eger came free, but Luiz Eduardo Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salmonella's Sérgio Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Eduardo Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Alemoa SC's zone, Sérgio Velloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Gaspar came out of the goal and Sérgio Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ezequiel Gaspar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sérgio Velloso's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Alemoa SC's Ezequiel Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Velloso in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Sérgio Velloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salmonella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Célio de Almeida to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião Cardoso got free with Luiz Eduardo Veiga in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Dracena took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Gaspar. Ezequiel Gaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Ezequiel Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Dracena in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Norberto Messias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alemoa SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salmonella the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Velloso in the 61st minute of play forced Alemoa SC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sérgio Velloso in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Gaspar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Salmonella defense, Sebastião Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Eduardo Veiga. The Salmonella fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Eduardo Veiga should have stopped the shot. Luiz Eduardo Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Salmonella's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Cardoso. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Sérgio Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salmonella's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Velloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezequiel Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Pedro Luiz Salgado hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
