A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Kessinzudo's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Paraense came free, but Walmir Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Maria Dracena's late challenge caught a Guayanazes SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hudson Paiva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walmir Zanette. Kessinzudo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfredinho Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur de Godoi's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Charles Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Kessinzudo getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rubens Esteves hit a great ball. With a little luck, Kessinzudo's Walmir Zanette got control of the ball when Evandro Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Kessinzudo fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Kessinzudo's Artur de Godoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Walmir Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to Kessinzudo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rubens Esteves hit a great ball. Artur de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Walmir Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Paraense in the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Guayanazes SC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Nelson Cruz hit a great ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Gilmar Camargo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guayanazes SC's Alfredinho Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredinho Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Kessinzudo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Henrique Paraense made the kick off in the second half. Kessinzudo's Walmir Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Linhares in the 52nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Alfredinho Moreno successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kessinzudo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Kessinzudo's Artur de Godoi in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gilberto Barral let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 84th minute shot 0-3 at rihgt post. 87 minutes into the match, Guayanazes SC's goal looked a bit too open when Raí Cunha came free, but Alfredinho Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kessinzudo's Gilmar Camargo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Camargo in the 91st minute of play. If Artur de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nando Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Kessinzudo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
