The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Proença in the 6th minute of play forced Baile de Monique F.C™'s goalkeeper Claudinei Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Neiva struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Claudinei Pimenta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Embirizal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Freire in the 14th minute of play forced Baile de Monique F.C™'s goalkeeper Claudinei Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulão Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Pimenta having to interfere. Claudinei Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Proença in the 18th minute of the match. Eliseu Paiva hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Silvinho Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Pimenta having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulão Proença in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinei Pimenta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute of the match, Betão Vargas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Giovanni Branco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Embirizal getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Conrado Neiva hit a great ball. Betão Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinei Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Freire in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Tomé Mendonça shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinei Pimenta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paulão Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Claudinei Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, one of Baile de Monique F.C™:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Baile de Monique F.C™.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Acácio Lopes to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvinho Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Claudinei Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Embirizal's Claudinei Pimenta threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulão Proença, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Acácio Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giovanni Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Claudinei Pimenta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvinho Freire in the 67th minute. Paulão Proença received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudinei Pimenta came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulão Proença slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 70th minute. After 73 played minutes Embirizal got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Neiva. When Conrado Neiva was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Acácio Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baile de Monique F.C™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Acácio Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvinho Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulão Proença during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Embirizal got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Proença. The crowd rose to their feet as Embirizal's Silvinho Freire slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudinei Pimenta. That made the score 0-4 after 91 minutes of play.
