Triângulo's Samuel Toledo got a free kick in the 4th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lencois's Davi Branco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Washington Custódio. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Luiz Breckenfeld took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William Cardoso. William Cardoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Washington Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Ke Zhi in the 16th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Samuel Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. William Cardoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the match, Lencois's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Galvão came free, but William Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egídio da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Samuel Toledo made a precise shot to the right of William Cardoso. Lencois's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Egídio da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Washington Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Lencois's Shi Ke Zhi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Washington Custódio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Breckenfeld to make the kick off. If Egídio da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lencois's zone, Sílvio Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Cardoso came out of the goal and Sílvio Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 59 minutes on the clock, Conrado Couto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Lencois getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Conrado Couto hit a great ball. Washington Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Ke Zhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Lencois's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Toledo came free, but William Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but William Cardoso made a huge save. If Shi Ke Zhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Júlio Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S. E. Triângulo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lencois the free kick. A collision led to S. E. Triângulo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play.
