Gilberto Ribeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Washington Donatello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Tiago Passos made a huge save. After 92 minutes of play, Farroupilha City's Juarês Simão made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Ribeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Farroupilha City were the better team. Farroupilha City's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
