Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henrique Lopes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Augusto de Andrade in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmo Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dalmo Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Rossi in the 6th minute of the match. Dalmo Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fiori Matos in the 14th minute of play. Vicente Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Peixoto having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Jorginho Xavier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FERRÃO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 34thth minute of the game Fiori Matos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carcanha SC's Dalmo Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Sydney do Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carcanha SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FERRÃO the free kick. Sydney do Nascimento hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, one of Carcanha SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave FERRÃO a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cacá Valladares, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carcanha SC's Dalmo Peixoto. 0-2. Sydney do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Ramalho having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fiori Matos to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doni Ortiz during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carcanha SC's Doni Ortiz got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 61st match minute, FERRÃO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Valladares to maneuver through the defense. FERRÃO's Fiori Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind FERRÃO's goalkeeper Bernardo Ramalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sydney do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tarcisio Romero during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carcanha SC's Tarcisio Romero got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Sydney do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Carcanha SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. After 86 played minutes FERRÃO got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto de Andrade. If Fiori Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, FERRÃO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Claudinei Reis's late challenge caught a FERRÃO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Reis helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carcanha SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty!
