An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Donatello in the 10th minute of play forced Lencois's goalkeeper William Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Porao's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Ke Zhi came free, but Gilberto Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Egídio da Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gilberto Ribeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilberto Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Ke Zhi in the 20th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Porao's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Ke Zhi came free, but Gilberto Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Porao's Gilberto Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Ke Zhi in the 27th minute of play. If Shi Ke Zhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Arce struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Gilberto Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lencois. Gilberto Ribeiro was a little too slow when Shi Ke Zhi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 45th minute Washington Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Washington Donatello was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davi Branco in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Ribeiro saved Porao from getting behind. Jonas Donatello hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Lenílson Aguiar in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lencois's Egídio da Cunha. Gilberto Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Ke Zhi in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Conrado Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Porao defense, Shi Ke Zhi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Ribeiro. The Porao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Ribeiro should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute Washington Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Couto during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Lencois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Couto to maneuver through the defense. Lencois's William Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Donatello in the 79th minute of play.
