Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fiori Matos started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Vicente Rossi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anderson Peixoto. Star Sports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Rossi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 9 played minutes Star Sports got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Sanches. Star Sports's Anderson Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Rossi in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Richard Borges could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Bernardo Ramalho however easily saved by the left post. Fiori Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alfredo Maciel fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Star Sports's protests and gave Alfredo Maciel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Star Sports getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alfredo Maciel hit a great ball. Bernardo Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Hermínio Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anderson Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Neves in the 26th minute of play. Anderson Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, FERRÃO's Jorginho Xavier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anderson Peixoto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, Star Sports's Richard Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Ramalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Matos in the 40th minute of play forced Star Sports's goalkeeper Anderson Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sidney Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Hermínio Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Star Sports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermínio Sanches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Fiori Matos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Star Sports's Anderson Peixoto. Anderson Peixoto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
Anderson Peixoto came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by FERRÃO's Fiori Matos. But to his dismay, Fiori Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Bernardo Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Borges in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Star Sports's Sidney Vides got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Cacá Valladares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anderson Peixoto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anderson Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Star Sports's Alfredo Maciel got a free kick in the 75th minute. Richard Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Ramalho having to interfere. The supporters of FERRÃO booed when Star Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Star Sports booed when FERRÃO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Borges in the 90th minute of play. Jorginho Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the match was over FERRÃO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Star Sports throughout the match.
