Spectators: 7489 (Terracing: 5639, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edinho Donatello took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Cães Vadios MZ's Edinho Donatello got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Adalberto Torres took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fernandinho Furtado to make any attempt to save it. Fernandinho Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimo Abeijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cães Vadios MZ's Fernandinho Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Torres in the 14th minute of play. Adalberto Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Fernandinho Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernandinho Furtado stood somewhat misplaced when Adalberto Torres came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Adalberto Torres got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fernandinho Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With splendid footwork Adalberto Torres arrived in front of goal to shoot 4-0 by the left pole in the game's 36th minute. The supporters of Aikivida booed when Cães Vadios MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adalberto Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernandinho Furtado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adalberto Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernandinho Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimo Abeijon in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Cães Vadios MZ's zone, Adalberto Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandinho Furtado came out of the goal and Adalberto Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernandinho Furtado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aílton Félix's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Fernandinho Furtado came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Aikivida's Adalberto Torres. But to his dismay, Adalberto Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 62nd minute, Adalberto Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernandinho Furtado was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. If Aílton Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tiago Gabriel Teles fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cães Vadios MZ's protests and gave Tiago Gabriel Teles a yellow card for diving instead. Tiago Gabriel Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Adalberto Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernandinho Furtado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro de Moraes went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, Adalberto Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernandinho Furtado was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 80 minutes into the game, Aikivida's Adalberto Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernandinho Furtado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Aikivida's Stasio Sala was substituted for Dimo Abeijon. Fernandinho Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Félix in the 91st minute of play. Pedro Luiz Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernandinho Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Torres in the 96th minute of play.
