Tiago Gabriel Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Pedro Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho Furtado having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Edinho Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cães Vadios MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edinho Donatello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 18 played minutes Cascavel PR got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Mattos. In the 24th minute Cães Vadios MZ were awarded a corner. Dino Aguiar went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 25th minute, Dino Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Túlio das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Cães Vadios MZ defense, Túlio das Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandinho Furtado. The Cães Vadios MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandinho Furtado should have stopped the shot. Gil Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Donatello in the 44th minute of play. If Túlio das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

A collision led to Cães Vadios MZ getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Henrique Diniz hit a great ball. Edinho Donatello took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Neiva. Gil Neiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. When Túlio das Neves came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Cascavel PR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Túlio das Neves couldn't finish the play. After 80 minutes of play, Cascavel PR's Niles Santos made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernandinho Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gil Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger de Souza in the 86th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niles Santos got free with Fernandinho Furtado in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niles Santos succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. Cascavel PR played a much better game than Cães Vadios MZ and deserved their victory. The Cães Vadios MZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
