Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Elano de Almeida started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cristóvão Mota in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Evandro Correia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luís Eduardo de Amorim came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmorindo's Elano de Almeida. But to his dismay, Elano de Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ituverava's Luís Eduardo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano de Almeida in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Ituverava getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gugu Veloso hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Mané Alvarenga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Evandro Correia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristóvão Mota in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evandro Correia saved Palmorindo from getting behind. Evandro Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristóvão Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Evandro Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Ituverava's goal looked a bit too open when Elano de Almeida came free, but Luís Eduardo de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmyr Abreu scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Eduardo de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Eduardo de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elano de Almeida in the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ituverava's Gugu Veloso got a free kick in the 38th minute. Gugu Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gugu Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristóvão Mota made a kick off. If Gugu Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes, Válbson Veloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ituverava and the Palmorindo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Válbson Veloso hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Evandro Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenílson Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Walmyr Abreu notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Ituverava's Luís Eduardo de Amorim. Luís Eduardo de Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henrique Vargas took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Eduardo de Amorim. Luís Eduardo de Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After 71 played minutes Ituverava got a freekick which was hit by Samuel de Medeiros. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Júlio Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ituverava's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Penha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evandro Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Daniel da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Palmorindo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmyr Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Evandro Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Penha in the 86th minute of play. Lenílson Queiroz made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leonel Fantini however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Palmorindo's Walmyr Abreu got a free kick in the 89th minute. Evandro Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Although Ituverava had been in control for most of the match, Palmorindo still came away with the win.
