The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Jordy Argaez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cães Vadios MZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Jordy Argaez scored to the left of an out of position Fernandinho Furtado, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, São Paulo Paulistano's Luiz Fabiano Lucas got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jefferson Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger de Souza in the 24th minute of the match. Jordy Argaez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernandinho Furtado came out and tried to block the shot, but Jordy Argaez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Matos threw the ball into play from the sideline. São Paulo Paulistano's Jaja Risa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Jaja Risa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Cães Vadios MZ's Fernandinho Furtado got control of the ball when Ulysses Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute Jordy Argaez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandinho Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jordy Argaez to strike the kick off in the second half. Jordy Argaez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernandinho Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Lucas in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Ulysses Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernandinho Furtado. Cães Vadios MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulysses Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 62 minutes of play, São Paulo Paulistano's Dennis Santangelo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernandinho Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jordy Argaez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Cães Vadios MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jordy Argaez came free, but Fernandinho Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandinho Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. São Paulo Paulistano's Jordy Argaez got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Jordy Argaez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Fernandinho Furtado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cães Vadios MZ's goalkeeper Fernandinho Furtado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dorian Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho Furtado having to interfere. Jordy Argaez scored 7-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernandinho Furtado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jaja Risa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Ulysses Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. São Paulo Paulistano fully deserved thier win.
