Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Michel Britto kicked off to start the match. A collision led to NOVORIZONTINO getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. José Pedro Almeida hit a great ball. Benê Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo de Amorim having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, Ituverava's Cristóvão Mota made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dé Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dé Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Mota in the 17th minute of play. Lino dos Santos's late challenge caught a Ituverava's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. Tales Arruda got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by João Augusto Dracena. After 32 played minutes, Ituverava's Mané Alvarenga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dé Correia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ituverava reached it. Cristóvão Mota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Dé Correia made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, João Augusto Dracena notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ituverava's Luís Eduardo de Amorim. Luís Eduardo de Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to NOVORIZONTINO getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. João Augusto Dracena hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Cristóvão Mota made the kick off in the second half. Ituverava's Luís Eduardo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Velasco in the 53rd minute of play. Michel Britto hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Luís Fábio Hermes charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Fábio Hermes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Fábio Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Ituverava's Cristóvão Mota in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 81 minutes, Benê Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NOVORIZONTINO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benê Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute Michel Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Júlio Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Cristóvão Mota sped through NOVORIZONTINO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dé Correia. Luís Eduardo de Amorim came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by NOVORIZONTINO's João Augusto Dracena. But to his dismay, João Augusto Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
