Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) José Maria Pitta made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Pitta in the 3rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Minas's goalkeeper Egídio Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Maria Pitta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egídio Travassos having to make a save. If José Maria Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, NewGate FC's Benê Furlan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Egídio Travassos. Egídio Travassos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 9 minutes, José Maria Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NewGate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Maria Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Matheus Tande came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the NewGate FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matheus Tande couldn't finish the play. Egídio Travassos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles Santos in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilson Travassos in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilmar de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matheus Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Egídio Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute of the match, Charles Santos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Egídio Travassos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Matheus Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Egídio Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, NewGate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Nilmar de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Veiga in the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Minas's zone, Matheus Tande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egídio Travassos came out of the goal and Matheus Tande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benê Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. NewGate FC's Nilmar de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Travassos in the 39th minute of play. If Charles Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Queirós made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Furlan came free, but Egídio Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, NewGate FC's Benê Furlan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egídio Travassos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauro Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Minas's zone, Matheus Tande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egídio Travassos came out of the goal and Matheus Tande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Club Atlético Minas getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sílvio Proença hit a great ball. José Maria Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Egídio Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, NewGate FC's José Maria Pitta made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egídio Travassos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Charles Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Charles Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Minas's goalkeeper Egídio Travassos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Atlético Minas's Egídio Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Pitta in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match NewGate FC got a corner. Club Atlético Minas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benê Furlan ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed José Maria Pitta to score against Egídio Travassos in Club Atlético Minas's goal. 4-0 after 91 minutes. Egídio Travassos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Maria Pitta's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Egídio Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Pitta in the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. NewGate FC fully deserved thier win.
