The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Téo do Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dadá Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Marinho in the 6th minute of play forced VAXCO 777's goalkeeper Faustão de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dadá Fernandes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Téo do Valle came out and tried to block the shot, but Dadá Fernandes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Dadá Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. VAXCO 777's supporters rose to their feet, but Dadá Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Téo do Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Téo do Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dadá Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Zé Paulo Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pirangy Fc's Téo do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Fernandes in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Maia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Téo do Valle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pirangy Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Dadá Fernandes scored to the left of an out of position Téo do Valle, making the score, 3-0. Faustão de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Xavier in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Pirangy Fc getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Raphael Cabral hit a great ball. Dadá Fernandes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Téo do Valle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 38 minutes into the game, Dadá Fernandes lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Téo do Valle. 42 minutes into the match, Pirangy Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Maia came free, but Téo do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Téo do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Diego Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Almir Xavier was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Dadá Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Téo do Valle was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Acácio Neves took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Téo do Valle. Téo do Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When Almir Xavier fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirangy Fc's protests and gave Almir Xavier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Pirangy Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Xavier to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Dadá Fernandes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Téo do Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The supporters of VAXCO 777 booed when Pirangy Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zé Paulo Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Luiz Fabiano Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of VAXCO 777 booed when Pirangy Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Fernando Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Téo do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Acácio Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VAXCO 777's supporters crossed their fingers, but Acácio Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82nd play minutes Dadá Fernandes shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Téo do Valle and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Maia in the 87th minute of play forced Pirangy Fc's goalkeeper Téo do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dadá Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the VAXCO 777 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dadá Fernandes couldn't finish the play. Almir Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. VAXCO 777 fully deserved thier win.
