After a defensive mix-up in Pirangy Fc's zone, José Maria Pitta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Téo do Valle came out of the goal and José Maria Pitta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Marinhos short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Nilmar de Almeida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Téo do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benê Furlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Téo do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benê Furlan ran back to his position shaking his head. If José Maria Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benê Furlan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Téo do Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of NewGate FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pirangy Fc:s goal. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Pirangy Fc's Carlos Fernando Pena got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nilmar de Almeida. In the 27th minute, José Maria Pitta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Pirangy Fc's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Pitta came free, but Téo do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Benê Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NewGate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Maria Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Téo do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Santos in the 36th minute of the match. Benê Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Téo do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Téo do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Pitta in the 40th minute of play. Benê Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Marinho got free with Nilmar de Almeida in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Maria Pitta in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Téo do Valle saved Pirangy Fc from getting behind. The supporters of Pirangy Fc booed when NewGate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Téo do Valle successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 61 minutes into the match, Benê Furlan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Téo do Valle, 1-2. In the 72nd minute Matheus Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pirangy Fc getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Renan Batista hit a great ball. Téo do Valle came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by NewGate FC's José Maria Pitta. But to his dismay, José Maria Pitta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 80th minute, Luiz Fabiano Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Téo do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benê Furlan in the 83rd minute of the match. Benjamin Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilmar de Almeida having to interfere. In the 89th minute NewGate FC were awarded a corner. Benê Furlan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led NewGate FC's Benê Furlan to fire away a dangerous shot which Téo do Valle despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Matheus Tande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Téo do Valle. Pirangy Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matheus Tande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. NewGate FC played a much better game than Pirangy Fc and deserved their victory. The Pirangy Fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
