Dadá Fernandes scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeferson Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of VAXCO 777 booed when Tupacyguara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camacho Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, VAXCO 777's goalkeeper Faustão de Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Moreno. Willian Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, VAXCO 777's Zé Paulo Maia got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Tupacyguara getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tarcisio Neves hit a great ball. Jeferson Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Fernandes in the 30th minute of play. Jeferson Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dadá Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Zé Paulo Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Moreno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustão de Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Tupacyguara's Jonathan Moreno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustão de Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Tarcisio Neves made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Acácio Neves got free with Jeferson Toledo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the VAXCO 777 defense, Tarcisio Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustão de Alcântara. The VAXCO 777 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustão de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. After 57 minutes, Willian Secco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tupacyguara and the VAXCO 777 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Tupacyguara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Secco to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dadá Fernandes in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeferson Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lorenzo Kellogg hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Tupacyguara's Jeferson Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Tupacyguara from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustão de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dündar Aymaz in the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Benjamin Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeferson Toledo. Tupacyguara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. VAXCO 777's Faustão de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Moreno in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Tupacyguara players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
