Cobra SC's Marquinhos Silveira managed to work through Inema's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Marquinhos Silveira dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. José Maria Gaspar's late challenge caught a Inema's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Maria Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. If Rodrigo Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cobra SC booed when Inema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
