Fred do Valle came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by NewGate FC's José Maria Pitta. But to his dismay, José Maria Pitta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. José Maria Pitta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fred do Valle having to make a save. After 8 played minutes Inema got a freekick which was hit by Célio Palmeira. José Maria Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilmar de Almeida having to interfere. Benê Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Benê Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Célio Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Fred do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benê Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match NewGate FC got a corner. Inema's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benê Furlan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Inema! Fred do Valle had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Benê Furlan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Charles Santos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Inema's Fred do Valle. Fred do Valle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, José Maria Pitta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benê Furlan in the 37th minute of play forced Inema's goalkeeper Fred do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, NewGate FC's José Maria Pitta got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, José Maria Pitta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Charles Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. NewGate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fred do Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Maria Pitta to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match NewGate FC got a corner. Inema's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benê Furlan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benê Furlan made a great header on NewGate FC's corner, it was just that Inema's Fred do Valle managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Inema getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Angelo Camargo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Charles Santos could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Fred do Valle however easily saved by the left post. Inema's goalkeeper couldn't reach when José Maria Pitta 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. NewGate FC's Charles Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Benê Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benê Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, José Maria Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NewGate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Maria Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Teles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilmar de Almeida was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 77th minute, José Maria Pitta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Inema's zone, Matheus Tande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred do Valle came out of the goal and Matheus Tande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Maria Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fred do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rodrigo Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Inema's zone, Benê Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred do Valle came out of the goal and Benê Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, José Maria Pitta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred do Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Matheus Tande struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Fred do Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NewGate FC. Fred do Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles Santos in the 94th minute. Benê Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred do Valle having to interfere. NewGate FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
