Lucas Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucas Sena hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Samuca Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Bertassi having to interfere. In the 22ndth minute of the game Faustão de Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BotaFire FR's Luisinho Urbano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Thomás Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BotaFire FR's protests and gave Thomás Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. Raphael Travassos scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisinho Urbano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 54 played minutes BotaFire FR got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Aparecido. Cipriano Arruda's late challenge caught a Uberaba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BotaFire FR getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cipriano Arruda hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes, Uberaba's Luís Paulo da Rocha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luisinho Urbano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uberaba reached it. 58 minutes in the game, Faustão de Senna dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to BotaFire FR getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Anselmo Ceresso hit a great ball. Samuca Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Andrézinho de Sousa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luisinho Urbano. BotaFire FR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, BotaFire FR's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão de Senna came free, but Luisinho Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uberaba's Faustão de Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Uberaba's Raphael Travassos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisinho Urbano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luisinho Urbano made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Raphael Travassos sent off a good shot on target.
