After having played for 5 minutes, Cyryl Zurawski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anesth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyryl Zurawski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyryl Zurawski got free with Carlos Nóbrega in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 10 minutes, Pedrinho Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anesth and the Caresalzinho SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Caresalzinho SS booed when Anesth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Anesth's zone, Fabiano Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Vall came out of the goal and Fabiano Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cyryl Zurawski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Anesth booed when Caresalzinho SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cyryl Zurawskis short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Carlos Nóbrega to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 23 minutes into the game, Cyryl Zurawski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Carlos Nóbrega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Glauco Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caresalzinho SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Glauco Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Vall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cyryl Zurawski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Nóbrega having to make a save. Cyryl Zurawski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Carlos Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyryl Zurawski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Carlos Nóbrega made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Anesth's Cyryl Zurawski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Nóbrega narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Nóbrega stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilburn Wells's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Cyryl Zurawski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anesth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyryl Zurawski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caresalzinho SS's Carlos Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Brodel in the 41st minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cyryl Zurawski scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Nóbrega, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 played minutes Anesth got a freekick which was hit by Wilburn Wells. Claes Vall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Glauco Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Vall having to interfere. If Ernesto Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Fabiano Eger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claes Vall. Anesth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabiano Eger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 79th minute, Ronaldo Brodel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anesth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Anesth's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
