Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristiano Nogueira kicked off to start the match. Eriberto Leme scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cristiano Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristiano Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iuri Queirós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Fernandes having to make a save. The supporters of Gigante da Colina booed when Ceará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dário Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Ceará fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dário Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Albuquerque in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Arruda saved Gigante da Colina from getting behind. Cristiano Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dário Albuquerque made a kick off. Dário Albuquerque blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Arruda having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Dário Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceará's supporters rose to their feet, but Dário Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Leonardo Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gigante da Colina's Alfredão Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Cristiano Nogueira notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ceará's Leonardo Fernandes. Leonardo Fernandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute, Cristiano Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Emílio de Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ceará fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emílio de Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Cristiano Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Cristiano Nogueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Fernandes. Ceará's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Nogueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 79th minute, Claudinho Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the game, Gigante da Colina's Cristiano Nogueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Fernandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After having played for 85 minutes, Cristiano Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gigante da Colina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Eriberto Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eriberto Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eriberto Leme might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Fernandes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eriberto Leme ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute Dário Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceará's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
