Flamengo Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylwester Majorski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natã Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sylwester Majorski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natã Magalhães having to make a save. After 20 played minutes Flamengo Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Sylwester Majorski. After having played for 22 minutes, Pedro Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osasco Rubro-Negra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Mattos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Sylwester Majorski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natã Magalhães. Osasco Rubro-Negra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sylwester Majorski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Flamengo Football Club's Hamílton Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Brodel in the 28th minute of play. The referee gave Osasco Rubro-Negra FC a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Mattos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Flamengo Football Club's Hamílton Koehler. 1-2. Sylwester Majorski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natã Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Osasco Rubro-Negra FC booed when Flamengo Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Mattos was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Pedro Mattos sped through Flamengo Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hamílton Koehler. Murillo Dante charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murillo Dante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Flamengo Football Club's Hamílton Koehler got control of the ball when Pedro Mattos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Flamengo Football Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Osasco Rubro-Negra FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Osasco Rubro-Negra FC.
