Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Telmo Melo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Marques got free with Cesinha Dante in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesinha Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Teles in the 17th minute of play. Geovânio Jacinto's late challenge caught a ♫ A Kind of Magic ♫'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovânio Jacinto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Geovânio Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th match minute, Isidoro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualter Teles in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesinha Dante saved Isidoro from getting behind. Guto Campidelis took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesinha Dante. Cesinha Dante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Telmo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Isidoro's Giuseppe de Amorim seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Giuseppe de Amorim the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Isidoro protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Giuseppe de Amorim had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Remo Cavalcante didn't quite understand what happened when in the 47 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Gustavo de Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Gustavo de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Isidoro's Cesinha Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Teles in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Agostinho Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Telmo Melo's long shot passed Cesinha Dante's right side. It was 3-0, 61 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Telmo Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesinha Dante was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Isidoro's zone, Guto Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesinha Dante came out of the goal and Guto Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Marques in the 69th minute of play forced Isidoro's goalkeeper Cesinha Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Isidoro defense, Telmo Melo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesinha Dante. The Isidoro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesinha Dante should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Telmo Melo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Cesinha Dante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the match, Isidoro's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Melo came free, but Cesinha Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ♫ A Kind of Magic ♫ fully deserved thier win.
