The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernan Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Goiano in the 3rd minute of play. Jarbas Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Robinho Barral hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 6 played minutes Carinhatas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Valle. Fernan Ralondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorginho Valle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernan Ralondo. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Granito RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Barral to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes Carinhatas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Soeiro. Fernan Ralondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 23 minutes, Yan Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carinhatas F.C and the Granito RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yan Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Granito RS defense, Denílson Araújo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernan Ralondo. The Granito RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernan Ralondo should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Carinhatas F.C's Davi Goiano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Fernan Ralondo came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Carinhatas F.C's Davi Goiano. But to his dismay, Davi Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Roberto de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

52 minutes into the match, Carinhatas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto de Sena came free, but Douglas Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernard Bojanowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Douglas Motta made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Felipe Soeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernan Ralondo came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Carinhatas F.C's Paulinho Nogueira. But to his dismay, Paulinho Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Bernard Bojanowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Douglas Motta made a huge save. Fernan Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Goiano in the 62nd minute of play. Fernan Ralondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Araújo in the 64th minute of the match. Fernan Ralondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 73 minutes of play, Granito RS's Bernard Bojanowski made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the game, Carinhatas F.C's Jorginho Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernan Ralondo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Granito RS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carinhatas F.C:s goal. Granito RS's Fernan Ralondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Goiano in the 97th minute of play.
