The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llorian Parcerices in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Magno de Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DoSitio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 11th minute, Magno de Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Douglas Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorginho Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Remo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, DoSitio's goalkeeper Remo Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denílson Araújo. 19 minutes into the game, João Carlos Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Douglas Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Magno de Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the DoSitio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magno de Mendonça couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, Júlio Aparecido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Motta. Carinhatas F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júlio Aparecido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Douglas Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Aparecido in the 29th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Carinhatas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Nogueira. DoSitio's Magno de Mendonça couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Carinhatas F.C. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Aparecido in the 43rd minute of play forced Carinhatas F.C's goalkeeper Douglas Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half DoSitio were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Magno de Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. Douglas Motta came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by DoSitio's Júlio Aparecido. But to his dismay, Júlio Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno de Mendonça in the 55th minute of play forced Carinhatas F.C's goalkeeper Douglas Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Aparecido in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Júlio Aparecido reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Douglas Motta. The goal made the score 0-6. João Francisco Bueno hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, João Carlos Vale notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Carinhatas F.C's Douglas Motta. Douglas Motta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 71 played minutes DoSitio got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Lima. 79 minutes into the game, DoSitio's Júlio Aparecido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Douglas Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. With a little luck, Carinhatas F.C's Douglas Motta got control of the ball when João Francisco Bueno tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Carinhatas F.C getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Paulinho Nogueira hit a great ball. After 90 minutes of play, DoSitio's Magno de Mendonça made it 1-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, DoSitio's Júlio Aparecido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Motta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carinhatas F.C's Denílson Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
