Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anderson Matorin kicked off to start the match. Taucucúga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Anderson Matorin scored to the left of an out of position Bernardinho Teixeira, making the score, 1-0. João Vítor Hoffmann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernardinho Teixeira came out and tried to block the shot, but João Vítor Hoffmann slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. Taucucúga's Bernardinho Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Taucucúga from getting a goal against them. Taucucúga's Bernardinho Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Hoffmann in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredinho Brodel got free with Bernardinho Teixeira in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th match minute, E.C. Itajaí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Brodel to maneuver through the defense. João Augusto Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Rossi in the 18th minute of play. Bernardinho Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Anderson Matorin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernardinho Teixeira. That made the score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. João Augusto Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Mineiro in the 30th minute of play. Taucucúga's Bernardinho Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Taucucúga from getting a goal against them. When Décio Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taucucúga's protests and gave Décio Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of E.C. Itajaí booed when Taucucúga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Décio Nascimento made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Renan Mineiro. Bernardinho Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Anderson Matorin sent off a good shot on target. João Augusto Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes E.C. Itajaí got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Braga. After 41 played minutes Taucucúga got a freekick which was hit by Décio Abreu. João Augusto Custódio came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Taucucúga's Renan Mineiro. But to his dismay, Renan Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renan Mineiro to make the kick off. Bernardinho Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Hoffmann in the 52nd minute of play. If Alfredinho Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Taucucúga defense, João Vítor Hoffmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardinho Teixeira. The Taucucúga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardinho Teixeira should have stopped the shot. After 60 played minutes E.C. Itajaí got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Brodel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Mineiro in the 62nd minute of play forced E.C. Itajaí's goalkeeper João Augusto Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, E.C. Itajaí's goalkeeper João Augusto Custódio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean Rossi. After 66 played minutes Taucucúga got a freekick which was hit by Décio Abreu. Bernardinho Teixeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredinho Brodel went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, Alfredinho Brodel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardinho Teixeira. Taucucúga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredinho Brodel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. In the 76th minute Alfredinho Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardinho Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardinho Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Matorin in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Alfredinho Brodel made a precise shot to the right of Bernardinho Teixeira. Taucucúga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. João Augusto Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Renan Mineiro took a quick shot and it went in 7-2 without a chance for João Augusto Custódio to make any attempt to save it. Bernardinho Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Brodel in the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anderson Matorin in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardinho Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. E.C. Itajaí had won after a very even match.
