José Vítor Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Paraíba in the 34th minute of the match.

José Vítor Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Vítor Arce made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Waldir Travassos sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th match minute, Bacururu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Mazza to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Macario's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Paraíba came free, but José Vítor Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naldo Bertassi couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bacururu EC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Naldo Bertassi hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Naldo Bertassi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bacururu EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 92nd minute, Naldo Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Bacururu EC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Macario side.
