Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kennet Mogren got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Kennet Mogren made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luís Magalhães. Palmeiras Mundial 1951's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Edgard Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmeiras Mundial 1951's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ipuarana SS's Vânderson da Cunha got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Eugênio Camargo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laércio de Souza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aníbal Mesquita's late challenge caught a Palmeiras Mundial 1951's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aníbal Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. Aníbal Mesquita hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Pedro Luís Magalhães successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anderson Borges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laércio de Souza having to make a save. Dinei Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
