In the 6th match minute, Taucucúga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Rossi to maneuver through the defense. Taucucúga's Bernardinho Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Taucucúga from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Kennet Mogren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardinho Teixeira was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Aníbal Mesquita scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardinho Teixeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan Mineiro couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ipuarana SS's Duarte da Silva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardinho Teixeira. That made the score 4-0 after 32 minutes of play. Tales Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Ipuarana SS's Vânderson da Cunha broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tomé de Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomé de Lara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Renan Mineiro placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Laércio de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Ipuarana SS got a freekick which was hit by Léo Peixoto. The crowd rose to their feet as Ipuarana SS's Kennet Mogren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardinho Teixeira. That made the score 5-0 after 48 minutes of play.

In the 53rd minute, Renan Mineiro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Ipuarana SS's Laércio de Souza got control of the ball when Tales Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Ipuarana SS's goalkeeper Laércio de Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joélson Nóbrega. The supporters of Ipuarana SS booed when Taucucúga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magno Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Peixoto in the 63rd minute of play forced Taucucúga's goalkeeper Bernardinho Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Taucucúga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Veiga to maneuver through the defense. After 66 minutes of play, Ipuarana SS's Kennet Mogren made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardinho Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Taucucúga getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Deivid Corrêa hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Taucucúga's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Peixoto came free, but Bernardinho Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardinho Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Vânderson da Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ipuarana SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ipuarana SS's zone, Jean Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laércio de Souza came out of the goal and Jean Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Laércio de Souza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Taucucúga's Bernardinho Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Mesquita in the 86th minute of play. In the 91stth minute of the game Aníbal Mesquita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taucucúga's Bernardinho Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Renan Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taucucúga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipuarana SS the free kick. Bernardinho Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Mesquita in the 94th minute of play. Taucucúga's Bernardinho Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Mogren in the 96th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Aníbal Mesquita made a precise shot to the right of Bernardinho Teixeira. Taucucúga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. When the referee ended the match the Ipuarana SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
