Aníbal Mesquita succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. Laércio de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Leão in the 12th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Aníbal Mesquita took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Falcão Favoretto to make any attempt to save it. If Léo Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Kennet Mogren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Falcão Favoretto, 3-0. Aníbal Mesquita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Falcão Favoretto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pacui's Falcão Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Mogren in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Pacui getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Zé Augusto Furtado hit a great ball. Tomé de Lara hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Zé Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laércio de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aníbal Mesquita came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ipuarana SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Mesquita couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Kennet Mogren notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Pacui's Falcão Favoretto. Falcão Favoretto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Garcia was the one to do the kick off. Kennet Mogren took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Falcão Favoretto. Falcão Favoretto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Falcão Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte da Silva in the 61st minute of the match. If Teodoro Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio de Souza having to interfere. Zé Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laércio de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Léo Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Teodoro Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Claudinei Leão came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Pacui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Leão couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Pacui's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Mesquita came free, but Falcão Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Teodoro Garcia took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Laércio de Souza to make any attempt to save it. Ipuarana SS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
