The supporters of COLISI FC booed when Manhuacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenílson Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Manhuacu were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Augusto Neiva to make the kick off. With a little luck, COLISI FC's Sandro Rodrigues got control of the ball when João Augusto Neiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manhuacu's Diguinho Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Diguinho Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafa Coutinho in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bebeto Capixaba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Augusto Neiva got free with Sandro Rodrigues in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manhuacu's João Augusto Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Manhuacu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than COLISI FC throughout the match.
