Caxias do Sul's Tadeu Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Coutinho in the 10th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as COLISI FC's Zé Paulo Medeiros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tadeu Salgado. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Zonta in the 20th minute of play forced COLISI FC's goalkeeper Sandro Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Caco Zonta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jeferson Britto made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Wilian Paraense immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, COLISI FC's Adelino do Nascimento got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Caco Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes in the game Jeferson Britto did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carlinhos Toledo. Caco Zonta missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 46 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Sandro Rodrigues right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Paulo Teixeira made a kick off. Zé Paulo Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, COLISI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Paulo Teixeira came free, but Sandro Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kauan Seco made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zé Paulo Medeiros. A sloppy throw-in by Jeferson Britto in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Cauan Jacinto. In the 77th minute Rafa Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafa Coutinho scored 3-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeu Salgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of COLISI FC booed when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Zé Paulo Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Tadeu Salgado. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Tadeu Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Henrique França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guga Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tadeu Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeu Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Moraes in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for COLISI FC.
