The coaching staff of COLISI FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Doni Lopez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of COLISI FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Black Pearl:s goal. Sandro Rodrigues had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Samuca Diniz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sandro Rodrigues came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Pearl's Samuca Diniz. But to his dismay, Samuca Diniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sandro Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Capixaba in the 16th minute of play. Frank Capixaba scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandro Rodrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafa Coutinho did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Jairo Tróia 21 minutes into the match. Ulysses Abraão hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The supporters of Black Pearl booed when COLISI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony de Lima took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro Rodrigues. Sandro Rodrigues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience was convinced that Ulysses Abraão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandro Rodrigues was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Ulysses Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Rodrigues having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafa Coutinho to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Frank Capixaba could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Sandro Rodrigues however easily saved by the left post. In the 55th minute of the match Vicente Gonçalves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandro Rodrigues skillfully saved the ball. After 62nd play minutes Rafa Coutinho shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Jairo Tróia and just under the crossbar into goal. COLISI FC's Sandro Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Eger in the 65th minute of play. Sandro Rodrigues was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Eger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 67 minute of play. After 70 played minutes Alberto Eger rounded COLISI FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-5. After 77 played minutes Black Pearl got a freekick which was hit by Tony de Lima. In the 80th minute Ulysses Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Correia during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Black Pearl got a freekick which was hit by José Correia. After 84 minutes of play, Black Pearl's Ulysses Abraão made it 3-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 89th minute of the match Carlinhos Toledo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Tróia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Black Pearl eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
