In the 33rd match minute, U18 Cruzeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrão Abreu to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Jhon Rabelo made the kick off in the second half. Raí Sá hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Luiz Fernando Souza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorge Nóbrega showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 56 minute of play. Jorge Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elano de Moraes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luiz Fernando Souza firmly grabbed it by the left post. 92 minutes into the match, U18 Cruzeiro's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeu de Queiroz.
