Spectators: 7382 (Terracing: 5687, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 95) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luiz Guilherme Diniz made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Fábio Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano Catarinense came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Calderao's Flávio Damião. But to his dismay, Flávio Damião quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jerônimo Cerezo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cipriano Catarinense came out and tried to block the shot, but Jerônimo Cerezo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. Jerônimo Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Catarinense having to interfere. Flávio Damião who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Cipriano Catarinense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Álvaro Souza hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Jerônimo Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calderao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerônimo Cerezo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flávio Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo Cerezo in the 27th minute of play. Jerônimo Cerezo had several of the Arabela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Cipriano Catarinense as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Garaona in the 34th minute of play forced Arabela's goalkeeper Cipriano Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Garaona succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 34th playminute. Cipriano Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calderao's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yan do Valle in the 46th minute. Flávio Damião made a great header on Calderao's corner, it was just that Arabela's Cipriano Catarinense managed to reach the ball for a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerônimo Cerezo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Calderao were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Arabela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yan do Valle took the corner. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Arabela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calderao:s goal. Yan do Valle placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Cipriano Catarinense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerônimo Cerezo went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Santiago Garaona charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Garaona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Calderao's Santiago Garaona got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jerônimo Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Válter Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arabela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calderao the free kick. After 76 played minutes Arabela got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Souza. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Fábio Recife with Álvaro Souza as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Álvaro Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Flávio Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Fábio Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Loureiro during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arabela! The referee gave Calderao a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yan do Valle, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arabela's Cipriano Catarinense. 8-0. Calderao walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
