After recieving a nice pass, U18 Cruzeiro's Sílvio Abraão tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of U18 Cruzeiro booed when Kids Graça was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jhon Rabelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Paulo Couto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play.
