Marcelinho Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Cauã Porto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelinho Leite was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Eunapolitano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cauã Porto came free, but Marcelinho Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardinho Matos scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelinho Leite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 minutes of play, Libertadores's Ricardinho Matos made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Leite was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Ricardinho Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Leite having to interfere. Paulo Recife's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelinho Leite firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 60 minutes of play, Libertadores's Paulo Recife made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Leite was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hélio Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Pereira in the 64th minute of the match. After 69 minutes, Alberto Meirelles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Libertadores and the Eunapolitano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcelinho Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Matos in the 82nd minute of the match. Caco Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Marcelinho Leite made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Cauã Porto sent off a good shot on target. Ricardinho Matos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Libertadores's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 86 minutes into the game, Leonel Peres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
