In the 10th minute of the match, Víktor Messias got a very nice opportunity to score, but Belmiro Peres was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edgar do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Peres having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar do Vale in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Belmiro Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Diego Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Víktor Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Víktor Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Belmiro Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davi Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davi Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, one of Abismo SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Abismo SC. The goalkeeper, Belmiro Peres, was totally fooled by Fura bola FC's Raúl Couto, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 32 minutes into the match, Fura bola FC's Edgar do Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belmiro Peres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgar do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Peres having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Edgar do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Nóbrega was the one to do the kick off. Romeu de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Júlio Carioca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abismo SC. In the 53rd match minute, Fura bola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Abismo SC's Sydney de Moraes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Júlio Carioca but with some difficulty. When Serginho Gerber fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fura bola FC's protests and gave Serginho Gerber a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Nóbrega in the 57th minute of play forced Fura bola FC's goalkeeper Júlio Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Abismo SC's Jorge Nóbrega got a free kick in the 61st minute. Belmiro Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víktor Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belmiro Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Messias in the 72nd minute of play. Belmiro Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Belmiro Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Messias in the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Víktor Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fura bola FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Víktor Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belmiro Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Fura bola FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Edgar do Vale hit a great ball. Edgar do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
