In the 80th minute of the match, Paulo Recife got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ronald Goliáš was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Paulo Recife in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ronald Goliáš, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 86 minutes, Generoso Gasteiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Libertadores and the Calderao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Generoso Gasteiz kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Libertadores had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
