When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leopoldo Pirani made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Valdelino EC's goal looked a bit too open when Chicão Brito came free, but Alexsandro Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicão Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alexsandro Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Capinal's Cássio Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Brito in the 83rd minute of play forced Valdelino EC's goalkeeper Alexsandro Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Fernando Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
